I love this place. My kids and I go to this location often they have the best corn beef sandwich sandwiches, their chicken or steak stirfry is loaded with fresh veggies. It’s another favorite of ours. Service is always on point, every time I go there they’re super busy but they get everybody in and out in a timely manner , especially if you’re just placing a carryout. Can you place a carry out if they tell you it’s gonna be ready in 10 minutes rest assured it will be ready for you. The restaurant is kept clean, all the workers are great with teamwork , play Good music 🎶 🎶 … I love the vibe. It’s very upbeat.

I will never order from this place again. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but after today’s experience, they won’t be getting another dime from me. I waited over 45 minutes for my order, only to receive boiled eggs that were clearly burned and looked like they had been rushed through the peeling process. To make matters worse, the eggs were placed directly on top of my pancakes, leaving them completely soggy. When I called to explain the issue, instead of taking responsibility, I was told that I should have asked for the eggs to be packaged separately. That response was disappointing and completely missed the point. Food should arrive in good condition without customers having to request basic care in packaging. I then asked what they could do to make the situation right, especially after such a long wait. The only solution I was offered was to “save it and bring it back later.” That is not a reasonable solution after paying for a meal that was prepared so poorly. I also asked to speak with Diane. I really enjoyed my visit to Nicky D’s Coney Island. It’s conveniently located right next to the inn and gas station, and being open 24/7 makes it such an easy and comforting stop, especially when traveling or staying nearby. I only ordered a fish sandwich and coffee, but honestly, the experience was more than just the food. Sitting in the booth, surrounded by the bright classic colors and old-school American diner atmosphere, gave the place a warm nostalgic feeling. It felt like stepping into one of those traditional roadside diners you see in movies. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean, lively, and full of character. Out of the Coney Islands I’ve visited, this was definitely one of my favorites for atmosphere and overall experience. Sometimes it’s the simple meals and relaxed moments that end up being the most memorable.

Very disappointed. This salad was full of chicken, however the chicken is so dry and chewy that I ruined the entire $15 salad. There weren’t many veggies and the pita was also very hard. I ordered around 2am so maybe it’s better during the day.

I understand this is a coney and you shouldn’t expect much but the salad is very fresh and the service at the counter is very hospitable but then you get home and see this horrible pre/overcooked sad chicken breast… it was hard and tasted like it was grilled on a flat top for hours. It’s unacceptable. Do better please.
